She's holding back quite a lot of glee at her new voice; it's still obviously artificial, but it sounds more "Dettna" than before, as they had tweaked her voice to sound a bit more smooth and a little deeper. Like a slightly monotone, yet motherly caramel dripping out of a cheap set of speakers.
You make a joke that she probably wants to be a surrogate mother because of her pregnancy kink.

(Honestly I only threw together this pic and mini-story to test a unicode font, to try to back away from using all-caps for Sym speech. All-caps implies that her voice was either loud or angry, neither of which are true. I'm still searching for a unicode font that looks artificial without overdoing it, but I'm not going to stress over it too much.)

No the font comes through fine for me, looks reasonable.
You could use one of those glitch text generators and put the setting to minimum, so there are just a few weird lines coming off it here and there. Then you could type in upper and lower case, but with something obviously "wrong" with the text.

EndoSyms, like Dettna and that Sylveon one, Joy, think and feel like normal people, despite not actually being real.
I mean, she's technically not a real person, but she still has hopes and dreams, likes and dislikes, wants and needs.
I'm sure there's people in the lab that feel the same way, though, and likely just use her as a tool or a sexdoll, commanding her to obey or whatever.

It's not too much different than a parent raising their child to be some ultra-devout Christian: will the kid become a pastor? Will they rebel and become some crazy Atheist?
