Azdoves & Maldoves (Prologue)

This is a prologue for a novel idea I had. It combines my amateur writing and drawing skills in hopes that they can elevate each other some how. Rather than give a summary of what the actual novel will be about here's a basic summary of this prologue;
The remote planet of Eirt is on the very edge of the immense tracts of space that make up the Azdov Empire. It was invaded by the empire long ago. There are still ruins left behind by the civilization that existed prior to the invasion. The Procyon people are primitive natives of the planet who worship said ruins. It is with information from these people that the azdov find a ruin for themselves. Azdov Standard Tech believes that not all of the technology that existed prior to the invasion was as worthless as initially thought. Dr. Korona wishes to find some way to bring back any of the carelessly destroyed techs with an expedition.
However, the private army that the company provided to aid her aren't exactly up to snuff. Two so-called soldiers cause an incident that may have dire consequences on the azdoves who have come to call this distant world home over the past hundred years.
