This amazing piece was commissioned to me by the talented artist,
using his varient Kobold race, the Koboldis. If you liked this or fave'sd it, please please please check out their page! Their art is amazing, and it's all drawn by hand using pencil crayons, which is super unique in this age of digital art. SFD deserves a few watches for their incredible art! This piece cost me $30 usd, which is great for the quality, they really outdid themselves! Get one now before they become famous and start charging 80 bucks per commission! ^^
The character is Plum, who is usually a standard Kobold, but I became enamored by SFD's art style and alternative kobold race, called Koboldis, and wanted a rendition of Plum in that style. I never thought I would like Kobolds with hair, but look how cute she is <3
This rendition of Plum is based on an RP I'm taking part in which takes place in a furrified version of Game of Thrones, where the different houses actually are animals. In this world, Kobolds come from Dorne, where they are mistreated badly for reasons that haven't come up yet in RP. So for context, Plum's tribe was wiped out about seven years ago, and she has been living in a tavern ever since, forced into Debt slavery by the owner. In this portrait, she has just recently escaped with the aid of a new friend and love interest, and the two are leaving Dorne by a Northern road through the mountains. When Plum looks out over the vast deserts of Dorne, she is overcome by it's beauty, but also by the sadness and loss and and abuse she suffered there, all of which happened within the space of a few leagues, yet encompasses her entire life. Plum is lost in the sight of everything she has even known rendered so small by scale, and is trying to comprehend how a place that caused her so much pain can be so beautiful.

Plums eyes widened in wonder as she entered the clearing and saw, for the first time, what seemed to her like all of Dorne laid before her. "Oh Dutch, it's amazing!" she gasped, her breath literally taken away. "I didn't know... I didn't realize it would all be so beautiful!" As if transfixed, Plum slowly made her way to the bench, sitting down next to Dutch and hugging his arm, leaning her head against him, mesmerized by the view before here. Down there, there was Nazak's tavern, so small and innocent from up here. And to the west...
"Do you see that lake, Dutch?" Plum asked, pointing out a lake to the far west, "That one there, that looks like a boot from up here. On the northern bank, there is a hill and a cave. Inside of that cave is probably what remains of my village, and the discarded remains of my people. And then, there, the Viper's Nest. There couldn't be much more between those two places then a few leagues, and yet they encompass my entire life, until this very moment. My entire life... and it was so small, Dutch. All I've ever known." She didn't sob, but tears began to stream down her face, yet again.
"My entire world, with all of Dorne laid before me, so big by comparison, and so very Beautiful. Oh Dutch, how can something that hurt me so badly ever be this beautiful? Why was I never allowed to see this side of my home? Only now, as I leave it forever... now I see Dorne for all it is. And Dutch, it's so terrible, but so very beautiful..."
