So, after I kept looking at this awesome sauce sketch sent me of Slate, I just had to emulate the scale work she did. Stuck with the sketch-like feel that I used for the past couple drawings, except I added color to this one. Wasn't going to, but meh, it's a Monday. I made the snout slightly too short, but only slightly. I particularly love how the ear and teeth and tongue came out.

The only thing I'm really unhappy with is how open the mouth is. Originally I wanted it to be all 'ROAR' but instead, it ended up barely a snarl =C

I also feel bad because I haven't been working on what I NEED to be working on. I mean, I've been thinking about it, like, the pose and everything, mentally picturing what the sketch at least will look like, but I haven't really started anything...
