I drew this for an art prompt challenge on deviantArt!
Their "Princess x Warrior" prompt was the perfect excuse to draw my mahou shoujo OCs. In time for pride month as well! The background is meant to fit their sapphic relationship as a couple.
Mari could be considered both a princess AND a knight/warrior, since she's the one that leads with offensive power, while Mei's highest asset is her healing powers. She's also considered the "Hime-sama", so, technically, she's the princess Mari will protect.
