Funny enough, this sorta reminds me of why James' Mareanie was so crazy about him. He apparently looked like one to her. Also, is said mushroom boy or girl?

For that reason, I'm guessing Amoonguss has mated other mushroom-like Pokemon, like say Shroomish or Parasect? And don't even get me started on Shiinotic.

Possibly. :3 Rowan's a Poison-type trainer, so Amoonguss is the only mushroom on his team.
