Kyrio, owner of The Raptor's Den club, has had an amazing day. Not only has he been able to hire a brand new employee by the name of Eli, who may or may not have been a badger boy only a few minutes ago, but he's also gotten a brand new wolf sculpture to spruce up his club. And isn't Eli just so helpful, working at polishing up the sculpture and ensure it's nothing but a nice, beautiful, sculpture for everyone to admire?
It's always nice to find such good, obedient help.

Don't those two just look so adorable together? Elliot, now a helpful little raptor boy named Eli is more then happy to work for his new boss. And just look at Decro, a perfect statue. The wolf should be proud of himself, he'll be admired for decades to come at the club.

"Ya know, more people would be more than happy to be assimilated into your family considering their other fate is gonna be having their soul devoured by a sociopath, or live life as a sociopath until a bigger sociopath eats your soul anyway, (as the rules of nature these sociopaths hide behind forget another law of nature is 'nobody stays on the top forever',)... most wouldn't mind the species change ... and some maybe wouldn't even mind the memory rewrite as long as the core of their self remains... You weren't also filling your place with mind-dead corpses! People would be FLOCKING to join your family. If Lunar City was one great big family, it would be one of ACTUAL equal opportunity, rather than an hunting ground for sociopaths feeling their butt grow bigger and bigger. HECK! There are people who WOULDN'T MIND being turned into works of art, if their consciousness was made ACTUALLY immortal from it, being immortal silent witnesses to eternity, to give their testimony at the end of existence! Rather than being gloriously preserved corpses."
(This is not intended as any sort of high and mighty attack on your story setting or your fetish tastes, this is me thinking of things from an outsider view. And is meant to be my natural reaction TO THE CHARACTER, not the author!)
On another note, you think someone who'd lost their magic wouldn't be worth eating to these monsters... but they're such gluttons I think the ACT of snuffing out another life is a drug to them, magic boost or no.
