I got a little rusty with my fur, meow, its not as, soft and fine as usual.

Katr has a mood cape, kinda like what ever mood he is in the more tattered black it is ect.....its more of kind of ghost like, since its not solid for anyone but him, so if you happen to brush against his cape it would float through you, unless Katr had its attention centered on you particularly.. Its kinda like a second tail.

I wanted something different on him, something I could use when I paint him... to add to em, capes are usally either heroic, evil or gloomy but can have a lot of meaning for the character. His cape just add's to the dark nature of of em that he now has, besides that it has other uses like covering up from rain, a blanket, he can manipulate it like a tail (more useful then a normal tail).

When I think of him I think of the cape wistfuly trailing along behind em, light and soft, not too affected by wind but moves and curls on its own like smoke.

You know.. I think I just added to the idea of the cape and what it could do after long day dreaming, contemplation. I certainly like its idea though, although I wanted it to be black, but then you could never see much contrast in it, so I added a blue hue like the rest of em, or a purpleish hue.

I didn't realize how small it was till I zoomed out, unfortunately this is how big it was while I colored it too, next time I will image size it up and then color.

I can barely see em XD you brightness must be up higher then mine. Corse I can see them better when I put black around the picture, like in windows viewer.

Random colorings are great huh. I just wish would have done it in a larger rez.

Now that I have a LCD I'm kinda surprised it is still shaded well enough, Katr is a bit messed up, but I couldn't see anything on that other screen either at all, heheh. I have a crappy CRT though so right now I am dueling the screens on the card so I can look at the painting on either screen while I work, so far, its kinda confusing and I am wondering if its worth the trouble.

I need to save up for a mac or something, or a wacom screen tablet.
