OMG the coloring is just amazing! I totally ruined my sable antrelope pic with the coat-color but yours turned out absolutely cool! Great work really! Just one question, are the tips of his fingers/hooves white on purpose?

I have to browse your gallery for that picture :o I thought I was up to date with your gallery, but seemingly, I am not as I didn't see it. ^^; Shame on me. Ah and sable antelopes have a very dark black to chocolat colored coat, some of them getting lighter on the ellbows and to the hooves. Theres a redish brown shine on somne of them in the sunlight, which was amazing but hard to color, I agree. I was really struggling with that and nearly ruined it as well. XD And for the hooves - they are shiney so this is meant to be the reflection of light. Maybe he uses strange nail polish, though. ;p

*imagines that nail-polish thing*...OMG....my brain is crushed now.....

Ich mag solch friedliche Darstellungen von Jäger und Beute total. Sehr schön gezeichnet und stimmig.

Ich bin ein viel zu großer Fan von Huftieren als dass ich sie ernsthaft fressen lassen könnte. *grinst* Aber diese knisternde Spannung zwischen Raubtier und wehrhafter Beute finde ich extrem prickelnd, von daher wird man sicher demnächst mehr davon sehen.

Ist das eine Rappen-Antilope?
Ich mag ihren etwas "gezierten" Ausdruck und Gestik. Auf jedenfall wirkt sie (also er eigentlich XD) irgendwie vornehm.

Mir gefällt auch das Gesicht des Löwen. Er wirkt sehr... hungring. XD

Wir haben bei uns im Zoo in Basel auch Rappenantilopen und ich finde sie auch wunderschön!
