It was using the very good "Fellowship system", in a setting based on a hollowknight AU.

Nerif was the last remaining of the firefly prophets, filling a gandalf-style role in the party. While the campaign did not complete due to a petering out, Nerif was doomed from the start and destined to be killed in the final battle.
