I like the fact that the "Charizard" looks less like a pokemon and more like what it should be described as. Literally a dragon. Perhaps not the most flight-able derg, but a dragon nonetheless. Perhaps the character's uniqueness speaks to it too, and doesn't cartoonishly deride the majesty of the fantasy.
