'10 in oil paints w/ just a palette knife (12"x16")

last painting i did and i had to rush it. I set up the still life same as all the other ones but w/ this one i got to choose the subject matter as well. Was definitely forcing the "painterly style" on the shoes going for large blocks of colour instead of smooth tansitions. Other things weren't so differential to do that on so it wasn't as easy to do that. I don't like how some of the shadows on the saw came out. I did them just so it would give at least the sense of completeness. I really like the composition and the colour palette i chose.
