Luden had a former life as an assassinbot for some unknown group, and upon getting obsoleted by newer models and software updates, his memory was erased and he was decommissioned. Some time later a small time, low budget theater group fished his body out of a dumpster to use as a prop in a show, so he lived in a prop room for a few years working as a stage hand and extra in the productions. Unfortunately, stage shows were a dying medium and it was surprising there even were any in the scifi space future, so when it inevitably fell apart he was left with a detective costume he stole from the studio, the script to every procedural that ever aired, and a suite of outdated stealth and sniping software.
