For The Day of Silence, The Day of Silence, a project of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), is a student-led day of action when concerned students, from middle school to college, take some form of a vow of silence to bring attention to the name-calling, bullying and harassment -- in effect, the silencing -- experienced by LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) students and their allies.
This year’s event will be held on April 16, 2010.

Hmm, my sis' high school did this already. As Bi, and with a many gay and straight people, who are very open btw, I don't see a need for this where I am. I, nor any of my friends, nor any of THEIR friends, have been harassed for our lifestyle.
But, meh, yanno. Somewhere It's goin down like that I guess. Sucks for them. We need more tolerance less hate.
