Felt like taking a little break. So here's a bit from a Hot Stuff cover; I didn't feel up to redrawing the whole thing and maybe should have. The full cover has the little devil Hot Stuff ... making tacos for his animal friends. As devils go, Hot Stuff is not one of the most wicked forces out there. There's a lot that I like about this, but I think it maybe does need to be in color to quite get the shape of the squirrel's head to make sense.

Also, look, in the 70s if you were white? Tacos were one of the wackiest, zaniest, way-out-there foods you could have. If you got tacos it was like you went to the amusement park and rode the Corkscrew roller coaster that goes upside-down even. You'd be telling that story on the playground for months. And if you were white and ate sushi? You couldn't tell anyone because they would never believe you. If someone tells you they miss the 70s for anything other than that every movie had a crazypants novelization, sometimes a photonovelization, and plus there was a new Rankin/Bass animated special every year, sometimes more than one, plus Charlie Brown too, they're a cop.
