So...this happened.
I don't really know how. I was just chatting with a genuinely nice person about a commission. It happens all the time. When the commission was done I fully expected the chatting to stop, like usual, but this time was different: this time I felt something I haven't felt in a very, very long time. He was all I could think about. Every message made me smile and the sound of his voice was all I looked forward to at the end of the day. I told myself I didn't know what I was doing, that I didn't have all the answers--but that's why they call it a leap of faith. I had to learn to let go, loosen control, and let whatever happens happen--and I can't think of anyone I'd rather do that with than him.

The lyrics are from the song "Let it Burn" by Red. I was listening to it when I drew the image and the lyrics posted struck me as me yelling at myself to just go for it. I'm glad I did~

I know I said this when you first showed me the very first time, but this is truly the most wonderful thing I've ever had the good fortune to be a part of. The time I've spent with you has been the happiest I've been for a long, long time. The moment I get to talk to you is the best part of the day, closely followed by knowing I get to talk to you again soon.
I know it can't always be sunshine and roses. Even so, the rough patches have been made more tolerable just by being in your company. I can't tell you how happy and excited I am to get to take this journey with you - wherever it may lead.

Haha didn't expect the Red reference when I saw the title! I find myself often very motivated by their music. Their lyrics have been the inspiration for many vent pieces I've done in the past.
