Remy's life had already hit a low point after the CEO of Prismatic Horizons, Dr. Justine Vulpine, had smeared his reputation after he acquired some of their classified materials that would have discredited them and brought to light some of their inhumane practices.

Of course, as soon as he had the chance to try and get back at them, he tried... They had found a material that they theorized could give mundane individuals superpowers, turn them into Empowered. Prismatic Horizons were already at the forefront of the genetic manipulations required to unleash somebody's potential, but if they found a method that allowed for finer control... Who knows what they'd unleash?

The item he found that day was a crystal housing a spirit... One that called himself Dusk, and interacted with him through his augmented reality device. Nobody else can see him or hear him... But Dusk is a very real entity, and one that tries to push Remy into using his powers... Can Remy find a way to use these dark powers, of possession and control, for good? Or will this power corrupt him and begin to skew his perception of the world? Only time will tell...
