I didn't get a chance to do the first day of Spring drawing sense it fell on a day during my burn out break/hiatus and then when I Finally get around to it like decided to do it closer to the first day of summer so I could post them both close together I ended up not only with a bunch of my markers drying out on me but not one but THREE of my sketchbooks are screwed up an I didn't notice until now. The paper is completely warped and even ink gets smudged that normally quick dries an never gets smudged it's super weird and frustrating so this one and the first day of Summer drawings are sadly super horrible :/... an I'm just.. really discouraged and depressed about the whole thing honestly.

compare the extreme streakiness and smudginess to the smoothness of my normal prismacolor marker drawings and it looks Awful. like if you don't know how an artist's work normally looks or how an art supply is supposed to behave this might seem to look fine but comparing it to my other work and how these markers normally behave with this paper it's downright awful also the paper in these three sketchbooks is literally wavy this time for some reason when normally it's completely smooth and lovely and is delightful to draw on takes in marker nicely and ink but this time it was like trying to draw on plastic. it didn't want to even accept the ink, so the ink wanted to smudge and smear and marker wanted streak and dry in weird lines it was just Awful.
so yes to someone who doesn't know the artist's work or the art supplies it might look alright, but to me who knows my work and how my supplies are Supposed to work no this is not what I wanted this drawing to turn out like and it looks awful and I'm sorry to disagree and not accept the compliment when I know how the tools where supposed to work and how the drawing was supposed to turn out.
