Lightning flashes and duels, preludes the rumble of the thunder of the dark monsoon,
I don't have long she drools eighty proof, I see her eyes glowing in the dusk she'll be here soon,
Nothing stops her after the set of the sun, not will nor prayer nor elephant gun,
She is darkness incarnate, that lioness, all to none, soulless like an earth dead and done,
So I bow down and tremble, soaked with the rain and cloaked in shame,
Helpless and sick yet adulant and willing in a sad surrender where both seem the same,
Welcome the night hours, and welcome back Adeline, hated and hallowed thy hungry name,
Lost forever within an ocean's kiss,
One once more with the fated abyss,
Drown again in the will of my goddess.
