Biography: Gamila is one of the many 1/2 mermaids born to Junichiro and Palutena, being born 2 days before Peach, the last of the 3rd 1/2 Mermaid line was born. Gamila, along with her twin sister, Ramla, would always stick around and listen to their father's tales from his visits to the mystical land of Sequin Land and were eager to see it for themselves. Gamila however, expressed interest in being a Relic Hunter much like Shantae's Uncle Mimic. With an equal interest in treasure hunting, Gamila has decided to pursue Relic Hunting. During a visit to Sequin Land, she learned the tricks & trades of relic hunting from Mimic and with what she learned from him, Gamila has been underway of being a top notch relic hunter, always finding something that will prove to be extremely useful. As with much of the 1/2 mermaid clan, Gamila inherits her parents' kind, loving, and caring natures, but she has been known to be so ambitious, it gets her into trouble. Once, she saw a relic stuck in quicksand and cared not if she'd sink all the way under while trying to obtain the relic. Treasure hunting is one of her favorite past times, but what makes her blood boil is people who desecrate graves for what said grave holds. A walking relic encyclopedia.

Abilities: Being 1/2 Mermaid, Gamila's mermaid is active whenever she enters the water. For obvious reasons, she only chooses to take on this form when the water is clean and pure whether it's the sea, or any body of water that's fresh. To protect herself, she’s adept at sword fighting and always carries one on her hips. She is also good with a bow, too and has deadly accuracy to boot. When her bow doesn't get the job done, she also carries a handgun; namely a Colt Peacemaker, specially designed to fire normal, and magical bullets. However, magic wise, Gamila only knows how to use Fire and Water magic. Gamila has a keen eye for treasure and is adept at treasure hunting, she can easily tell if a relic is cursed or not. As a result, it is often wise to listen to Gamila if she says the relic present is cursed.
