Another set of these lovelies are finally completed as well. I have so much fun with these and just seeing what I can do with them. Here's a few fun facts I've learned about the flowers illustrated in these:

Trillium was for Hibiscuses (dA) // The flower often is used to represent the holy trinity, but also is used to represent balance between the mind, body, and the spirit. This flower usually only blooms in mid to late spring and I often find them in the woods during that time.

Toadflax, aka Butter and Eggs was for AddictingSugar (dA) // This original european weed found its way to the northern americas some time back. It's shares a rather uncanny resemblance to the Snapdragon, but is considered a weed, one that grows and spreads rather rapidly.

Dutchman's Breeches, aka Colicweed, was for RazzlerCoyote (Twitter) // These interesting flowers prefer to grow in dense wooded areas. This plant is also slightly toxic, but it was once believed to be a key ingredient in creating love potions for men to attract women.

Wild Columbine was for Surt-ainly (dA) // The red columbine often represents love and a winning determination, especially if your trying to win over something or someone. Due to its jester hat like shape, it has also been known to represent foolish and deceit.

Thank you so much all my lovelies for liking this random concept of mine. I'm glad its working out and I honestly can't wait to do more of them.
