Scrapward bound.

I now have the 1943-1946 logo of the submarine the USS Redfin (SS-272) on my left shoulder. My grandfather was aboard her during WW2 but sadly she was scrapped in 1971. I don't think there's anything I could have gotten on myself that's more meaningful to me (and not retardedly cliched) than this. The design is copied from one the crew painted onto the conning tower on their way home after the war had ended.

Suggestions on how to add something like this to my character without it looking retarded?
