I loved that show, and the Eagle is a viable space transpo. Kinda like a Sikorski SkyCrane with rockets. Great pic-oh, oh Bojo.

And I used to have a model of an eagle firing on a tank that I had torched up a bit. I used florescent red thread and had a black light above to illuminate it. Back when I lived in my parent's basement. The eagles seemed to be one of the most realistic looking spacecraft at the time. (like they kit-bashed it together using a bunch of lunar module kits.)

in fact, back in the days most props were kit-bashed together from all kinds of model kits, including planes, panzers, even buildings and sprue frames. :)

Very sharp! All things considered, Space: 1999 was a very silly show. But I was eleven or twelve when it first aired, which is just the right age for the silly stuff to make a lasting impressions. And the Eagle remains one of the coolest looking spacecraft ever.

I had the super-sized Eagle that actually fit the 12" (10"?) action figures. It was HUGE! And you could disconnect the cockpit and the engines and then hook them back together for a flying Egg ship.

I don't know whatever happened to it, along with all my old original Star Wars stuff.

OMG...do you know how much that toy goes for at toy cons??? AT LEAST a heavy four-figure mark!

Figures that I have no idea what happened to it. Or the model ones I had (not the die-cast though).

I also had a giant Alien figure from when they first came out.

How do you know if it's a moon or not? I'd say it's a world with an invisible atmosphere that does not reflect any light by purpose...(HENCE, a superior intelligence behind it, THUS the reason for the weapons...)

But if i remember right they didn't explore other worlds as much as get visitors from other worlds dropping in on them that they passed by. However it's been so long since I watched that show I've forgotten a lot of it.
