As Mare made the agreement to let his dragon supervisor (Eldrick) fuse inside of him for the apprenticeship training. During breaks, Eldrick would stick his head out of Mare's neck, through his collared shirt. To let him know how he's doing verbally, rather than through Mare's mind. This training occurs at least once every week for every new FEILSAR employee. Mainly, to adapt to the environment, capture rivals, and intruders who want to sabotage FEILSAR by reading their minds. Therefore, being too intimidated and perhaps have Eldrick expand and burst through their entire body to kill them. FEILSAR has extreme security measures. But Eldrick just likes Mare a lot even though Mare's been working here for like 3 years. lmao
