So in this 1958 story, Albert Alligator has decided to dress roughly as Little Orphan Annie, because somehow the Pogo characters are always doing that. Along the way he's gotten to wondering why Annie needs a dog Sandy so much. In the original he goes into the subject at much greater length. I'm still building up my energy to doing serious lettering. Also I want to figure a lettering pen that is actually thicker on the horizontal strokes, like Kelly's was.
