i find paints look better hwne its more then one solid overtone, and things contrast. sidenote: besides what i did with the earrings, i will never use black unless i have a distinct reason

Sai isnt bad though! theres things i need to learn and pick up however

hair has always been my favorite part to paint. i dont even bother with lines i just make a new overlapping layer and start a fresh piece of hair and use the bristles to do the strands

I tried painter for a while, although I never really got used to how the different mediums worked :T
I have a CD key for Corel Painter Essentials 3.0 that came with my Intuos3 tablet if you want it, I never use the damn thing anyway XD

I love SAI because it is so simple and easy to use, and the combination of vector and raster images into one is great for resizing without distorting lines and images :D
