Long days in the field, years-long wait for the finish, but what a beverage to be savored!
8.5" x 11". gouache, digital text. I like to think of this piece as "Moo, winemaker." I asked for a Bacchanalian theme and this was Chris' gorgeous result. Makes me want to bottle some of my own vintage so I could use this as the label! I don't know how this didn't get uploaded before, it was done in January - gah! The detail and the color here are lucious, and like so much of Chris' art, wonderfully unpredictable.

Yes! Every piece he does looks like it could be done by someone else - so vast is his range - yet there's always the same clarify in skill in composition, lighting, and something ephemeral that ties his works together. I was *so* excited to grab a commission from him, and even moreso from the result!
Gah! I still have this sitting here staring at me as I type :P

No worries! I did PM you my addy (I think?) but I'll do it again anyway so you don't have to wade through 'em. And also don't stress about not having mailed it yet, I've been watching what you've been posting and imagine you really do have plenty on your plate at the right now! Whenever you have a chance is fine, I'm happy to be patient - will give me time to figure out where to hang it!
