I present to you all: Little Bitch and Pietro.
Little Bitch is a bad bitch that can't be killed. Long story short, shipping was not ideal. I thought he was dead and I already fed the other much sweeter baby so I was a little disheartened because he was the bigger one! So, I let him soak for an hour, and he didn't emerge. I decided to put him in my bonsai planter outside for a bit just to make sure and to make sure the little fella didn't stink up my tank with deceased snail smell, came back 15-30 minutes later... and tada. He was looking around outside like "what the hell where am i???". Brought him in, got him all fed! But as soon as I he looked at me I knew... he was a lil' Bitch. He's got an attitude problem and is sassy, he's very friendly though and incredibly social - he loves stretching his neck out and wiggling his eyes. I love him though, even with the 'tude. <3
Pietro is a feminine baby who needs to be protected. I will literally die for this snail. He crawled out onto my hand and said hello mother I am here. A precious baby!!! Literally a snail angel sent from the heavens to grace your eyes. A real sweetheart. I named him after Pietro the sheep because I feel they are both sweet and misunderstood babies. <3
They both have a lot of personality for such a simple creature!
Both snails are hermaphrodites (they can change their sex to be male or female depending on what they want/need to be), but for the purpose of me living in a majorly male pet household everyone's going to be a boy. Lol
They're both asleep now, they've had a long journey (I purchased them from California and the travel was less than ideal I imagine). A week without proper food, not much space and no real misting and love. I've already changed that, they're well fed off watermelon as a welcome treat, all goopy from a nice misting, and contently sleeping on the walls of their new home. They even crawled into my hand willingly without my picking them up yesterday too!
They made it through the night and my cats didn't bother them too much, got their morning snackies of veggie and melon, and now they're back to lazing the day away until tonight!
I hope they enjoy their new home, I look forward to watching them. 💜🐌

I don't yet since I got these babies yesterday. They're just regular garden/land snails (because unfortunately GALS are illegal here ;;; </3)!
But I followed all guidelines to housing GALS so it'd be the most comfortable, even if they are smaller! They still deserve the best life!
But I intend to post more of them if people really do enjoy it! You can find my aesthetic post of their tank on my insta: https://www.instagram.com/mamaowlarts/
I added a heating pad to the side to keep it temperature controlled and accurately humid/comfortable for their skin.
I repurposed a special succulent pot my friend gave me as their little hidy hole and covered it in moss and soil to ensure if they have a fall they don't hurt themselves.
I use eco earth soil, sphagnum moss, actual rock/tree moss, hand cut tree branches from my yard, and fake plants just to make it pretty and let them hide. <3
