almost did! (It took some prodding by to get un-shy enough to go into the pizza place after. When they arrived, everyone was already in costume, so it was easy to just mingle in. :) )

The pizza place people loved it, though, as did some of the people at the bowling alley. It was a lot of fun! (And some of us brought buckets to store the fursuit parts in when they got hot and to make transport easier.)

=) Yep, pretty much. From my (zumzumfoxy, stealing Tempesta's writing rights x3 ) understanding as Tempesta explained it, a meeting (in this particular event) to celebrate Mizuhiro's first fursuit, and Windscar's first commission's completion. :} He also told me that for the most part, furs gather together and hang out/go somewhere to eat/do things in suits and get to know each other better and whatnot. Myself, last night was my first time ever seeing anyone besides Tempesta & I in a 'suit in person, so it was new to me, but yeah, it was basically a bowling/pizza party. :3 after, the group split to go off to Logarth (one of the furs)'s place to have an afterparty, and Windscar, Tempesta & I and a couple others stayed at the pizza place just yacking and hanging out.

D: Some 'suiters put them in buckets- it at least keeps them in dust-free conditions (as dust can deteriorate fur and get settled into it).

I only have garment bags.

Actually, this was a fur meet coupled with a humans' social group. I think two of the humans are turning furry now, though. They have asked us back at their next group, too! You can join us if you like! Same time, same place, on the 22nd! I'm also planning a furs only meet next Saturday! Nothing final yet, though.

like, be legit with me. What's your definition of furry? I'm semi-popular on the site, but i don't have a suit. Do i qualify as a furry? I'm so lost :S I thought the idea was to hang out with other people who were also into furries....?

I call them humans because they are not furries. I define a furry as anyone who defines themselves as a furry. It is the simplest way to keep everyone happy. You don't need a suit to come to the meets, and even though I say the other one I'm planning is "Furs only," I won't turn away anyone who wants to come, whether they are furry or not. I'm just not combining it with a social group. Besides, humans are people, too!

lol keene a mini breeding ground shure im the only furry other then sachi and willow logarth and arctict i now of for keene furrys but i started out as a mass furry, frim chelmsford mass before my rents sold the house and bought there farm in swanzey, right on ther keene line :)
