And Ka-chan is revealed! Her full name is Katsumi. Ka-chan is just a shortening of her name.

This also marks the end of the current chapter. I hope you enjoyed it :D

I figure there is a catch for seeing Ka-Chan similar to how you have to be pure to catch unicorns and stuff like that. Or.... This is a hybrid version of Harvey the rabbit.

Your really should watch it. It is kinda old and in black and white but the acting is excellent. I think it also sends a big message about not conforming to society but the movie also subtly tackles several issues.

Yeah, she's quite big. I really liked the idea of her being bigger. Considering she might be the same age as Jin, she might even grow bigger still.

Depending on her Level of intelligence, her existence could be prooven by a Zener Card Test. On the other hand, a 100% success rate could just mean that Jin is an ESRer. ^v^;

Though given their size difference I’m reminded of how Lhasa Apsos and Tibetan Mastiffs were paired.

Seeing spirits it is! Makes sense for it to either be a mythical hybrid ability or just Jin having been raised at a Shinto shrine.

I could think of one way to test it. Have said spirit interact with things. Maybe have her tip a tower over, pick up a brick, or if she's only able to move things from life. Have her make ripples in water that aren't normal.

Shortening names in the manner you used here is quite common in Japan.

BTW, anyone who thinks that Ka-chan is P.O. or angry; if you Google Komainu, you'll see that that is their normal look.

Komainu supposed to be in pair as the legend said, but I know another Komainu who isn’t paired with anyone.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't komainu usually come in pairs? Perhaps since theirs isn't a twin situation it took a more, mythical approach.

If I get this right Jin musts be the a-gyō (shape) and Katsumi must be 'un-gyō (unshape)
Though there could be a number of other possibilities

Oh my goodness im glad I could find this comic series on here. My fursona is a dragon/chipmunk hybrid and I found a narrated comic video by holyycow on YouTube and had to see if there was somewhere I could read the comic series and follow along. I loved the apple a day storyline
