I actually drew this before I drew the pic of Jennie's parents. Anyways, I was looking through my old sketchbooks from like 2016 or so and I kept on seeing these drawing of Jennie in an outfit other than her usual one. It consisted of a white blouse, a blue circle skirt, and a pillbox hat. Because her outfit was drawn so much, I decided to rework it into something more detailed and in-character for Jennie.
I replaced the pillbox hat with a giant Edwardian-styled hat with lots of flowers and bows. I feel like she would find a pillbox hat too plain for herself as the leader of a girl gang. She would want herself to stand out and have the other members wear plainer hats and Genevieve already wears a pillbox hat to boot too. Instead of a plain white blouse, Jennie has a shirtwaist, which is more feminine than a regular shirt. It's also an Edwardian styled piece. I opted for an off white since she is a villain and I don't really want my villains to wear white since it is a "pure" color. As for the skirt, the style is still the same, but it is pink with yellow polka dots. In the original outfit from 2016, she has her hair down. Now, her hair is in a milkmaid braid across her head. She would NEVER wear her hair down in public. Of course, she still wears a tight laced corset, but now I have an idea that her natural body shape is very rectangular and she wears the corset as a facade for her body. The outfit looks like a miss mash of the 50s and the 1900s, but that's what I was going for.
I hope you like it!
