Another portrait of Northern Wisconsin in late August at sundown. The clouds just seemed to be in the right place at the right time for this and the breeze was absolutely nil, making for an absolutely perfect shot. This is the time of day up there that I really love. It gets chilly outside and you can hear the occasional loon or the ducks, or if you're lucky, a bald eagle calling. Only when the sun goes down fully can you hear the wolves...
