Yeah this needs and explanation, doesn't it? :B First off, these wolves are based off wolf characters, not anthro wolves, but there is no way I could even guess at animal anatomy, t least I have more practice with human types.
OK, the big brawn guy is my wolf, Sokar. The other rafting canine is Enyora. OK, so Sokar joins this pack. He and Enyora don't get along too great. Enyora had a crush on Shadow. This other gal, Jei, kinda also does. Jei likes to rub it in Enyora's face, and cruelly. Enyora has a phobia of water, and Sokar has a major fear of it.
So while talking on the OOC board, we thought it would be funny if Sokar and Enyora went hunting, and then both stopped when the deer or whatever jumped through the river. Then came the bright idea to transverse it. Build a raft! And considering how Jei was so mean, why not make it out of her puppies! (which don't exist but that doesn't make it less amusing in its randomness).
So yeah, roleplay on Gaia Online is to blame. But it was lots of fun to do :3 Now there are only FOUR blank pages in my sketchbook and I'll be done with it!
Oh yeah, Enyora's creator is from Australia, which is why the ship is HMAS instead of USS :] It is actually named for the ship mentioned on "Thank God You're Here", the Aussie version.
