Pooka . . . you drank it all!
Quick doodle while using Sai. I was tryin' out the water brush, and I liked it.
I always want to draw Pooka when I hear An Poc ar Buile (The Mad Puck Goat) or anything else that is performed by Gaelic Storm (or the Dubliners).
Pooka is © . . . erm . . . Ireland? But, this is my version of his "human" form!(That's supposed to be a horse tail, but I messed it up and put it in the wrong place).

When I saw pooka I thought "OOO! Changeling!" But I know they for it from real life myth. .....That sounds like a contradiction. Horse tail and horns? Hmmmm. I admit, I don't know much about the actual mythology of Pooka, but aren't they supposed to only have the characteristics of one animal?
...Don't mind my ramblings, I'm hyper at the moment. >_>

Nope. The original Pooka story is that he appears as either a:
Black Goat
Black Stallion
Or sometimes he appears as a black stallion with goat horns. As a human, I thought I'd give him both. I was thinking, if he is capable of altering his form, he could probably get rid of either trait at will, if he so wished.
I guess I just liked the idea of a fairly normal looking guy with horns and a tail. X3
Pooka is a trickster. He is neither good nor bad, though legends surrounding him generally warn the reader or listener to stay clear of him. He's a rather . . . playful . . . Kin and if you let him, he'll take you for a wild ride: Though he usually doesn't kill anyone (though there were older stories about him throwing misbehaving children off of cliffs .__.; )
