More experiments in drawing without a stylus, just fingers. This is basically a copy of the cover of a Casper the Friendly Ghost collection, again picked because I wanted something with easy shapes and simple details. On the original cover, he's riding behind Wendy the Good Little Witch, flying on her broom. I tossed in a spot of color for his tongue, and the faintest bit of airbrushed grey along his spine and feet and lower arm and such, in imitation of the cover. This because, what the heck, I'll need to learn that stuff someday so why not do it with the simplest possible shapes? Anyway his cheek's off, but a lot of the lines are pretty nice anyway.
Anyway, I tossed in a horse tail because without the broom Casper's just showing off his rump for no good reason. Showing off that he's got a tail, though? Now there's a good reason. The tail's based on Nightmare the Ghost Horse, whom I'm only just today realizing was female? Huh. (See https://casper.fandom.com/wiki/Nigh.....he_Ghost_Horse if the name wasn't definitive to you.) Anyway I don't know that this scene happened in any book, but I bet there's a fine chance it or something like did. Or at least happened on the cover.
Pro tip: if you want to find some genial yet adorable body horror? Look up Casper comic book covers. Casper and Nightmare #23, for example, or Casper #61 ( http://img0.etsystatic.com/007/0/62.....49836_qwml.jpg ) or #51 ( https://d1466nnw0ex81e.cloudfront.n.....600/776547.jpg )
