I cannot believe this is the only true One Must Fall 2097 submission localized here in FA... no really, I am SHOCKED.
I don't do much fanart but here we go...
Because I know for a fact that a high res image of this very scene DOES NOT exist-- NO MATTER HOW HARD YOU GOOGLE. Until now...
I can't wait to get my hands down and dirty on coloring this-- as this's been something that's been in the back of my mind for a loooong time.

I can't blame you if you don't... in fact it's more of a cult classic than anything; a fighting game based on the PC back in the mid 90's, 1994 to be exact, and has been a game that holds a very dear place in my heart ever since. It's by no means perfect by today's standards but back then? Compared to other giants that were dominating the beat 'em up/fighter genre-- Mortal Kombat, Primal Rage, Street Fighter (pick your edition...) tp name a few... this was, and still is, one of the most uniquely instilled games, and perhaps, THE ONLY successful fighting game to ever land on the PC.
They made a sequel to this game, which to me looks NOTHING and feels nothing like the original-- I'm diehard as it gets to this sort of thing and the original is far more superior to its supposed predecessor.
You know what would be my dream job? Being a game designer, attempting to resurrect this title-- which to me, is the greatest game never heard of (by most and many anyhow.)
To this day, I still think OMF;2097's opening title/menu screen is THE MOST BADASS tune to have ever graced the title screen of ANY game to date-- bar none: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gOShl4Tcw_E

(Which in turn, stresses the thought... if you haven't played this game yet? DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GOOGLE IT! The game has been released as Freeware for some time now and it should be on EVERYONE'S computer!)
