Why would you base anything off that show. BTW, nice pic, a fan of the Cap myself. Prefer Wally West's Flash myself, or if we go towards Marvel, Deadpool, but Cap is still one of the better characters in the Comic Book universes. Hope they can fix Mary Marvel some more. She's better than she was after Final Crisis, but...seriously, her new hairdo is just awful.

Because that show was one of few fond memories of my childhood...i loved watching it as a boy... yes i knew it wasn't canon with the comics but who cared it was seventies....and that was good enough for me.oh and thx for liking my pic.

If anything was not canon, it was DC's later mangling and butchering of the story. CapMarv participated in the Crisis on Infinite Earths, but never existed in the new reality that was born. Then a boy named Billy Batson, just orphaned, was endowed with the Power in 1986. I was able to go along with that, BUT not the later changes (Zero Hour, Final Crisis, etc.)

DC has not left any of its characters ir teams be, and I no longer buy the issues or even look them up on the wiki - not after what I have read on the wiki !Can't leave it alone !!
