both. i like to get better. i wish i had a better camera, but i'm dealing with a cheepy from best-buy.

The camera isn't that bad, but I can see how it would be limiting. My one main problem is that you cut off the group of flowers on the right side. That sort of line of flower lends its self well to perspective. My thought (link) This should kinda show what I'm thinking. Lens closer to end to show the line of the row of flowers with depth of field accentuating its three dimensionality, which you are trying to convey on a two dimensional medium, by blurring out to the back. I don't think the lighting, type or direction, flatters the subject. I assume the light is the sun and if that's the case you really can't do too much about that.
