Bill "Former Mayor" Dewey has gotten a week long sponsorship deal to promote the Big Donut, Sadie is returning to town to endorse her old place of work now that she's made it big as a musician with Sadie Killer and the Suspects, he's even commissioned a large inflatable balloon shaped like Sadie to make it really zing, but something goes awry.
A mischievous prank by Onion pops the balloon with only three days before the event and one before Sadie arrives; now in a panic, Dewey scrambles to find a replacement while ignoring Amethyst at the counter as she asks for the free stale doughnuts, when she goes ignored by the panicking former mayor, Amethyst shape shifts into him to make fun of his whining, that's when Dewey gets an idea.
he makes an offer to Amethyst, he'll supply her with all fresh doughnuts she wants if she shapeshifts into the Sadie balloon and float above during the event; Amethyst loving to flex her shapeshifting abilities takes him up on the offer and takes on the shape of the Sadie Balloon, but a few issues arise. She's shade of purple and cant emulating the writing, so Dewey paints over Amethyst into Sadie's colors and adds the words too, now the big inflated Amethyst Sadie balloon is all set and the event goes off without a hitch.
When the Event is all over, Sadie claims her royalties from Dewey and comments how lifelike the balloon was and thanks him for a fun time before leaving to go back on tour, Dewey tells Amethyst her job is done, but she refuses to come down and wants her doughnuts shoveled to her while shes inflated up on the roof; Dewey isn't going to stand for that and refuse, but he notices the lines are still long and people still want to eat "Sadie Killer Doughnuts" so he decides to just let her have her way.
So now Amethyst finally has a job, one that combines her three favorite things, eating, Shapeshifting, and people saying how awesome she is.....though she doesn't care that their really talking about the person she's shaped like.
