I just thought I give a cover image of one of my HOTR fanfics "A Lonely Heart" which is the prequel to "Life Before Paradise". It starts off with how Grace's life truly began after she was born and endures hard times with a cruel owner, but holds on to her hopes with the help of friends and two unlikely adoptive parents. In this picture, I tried to make her look like a frightened calf, but don't know if I did such a good job with making her much younger than she is in the movie.
