A more emotional attempt at art, a topic I don't usually touch because frankly, I'm pretty dead inside. But there're times I can't resist experimentation and a challenge.
Sunshine through emo depressing swirls.
Experimental negative outlines, everything done with a lot erasing and sketching and testing and a steady hand. No computer tricks, no digital erasing or painting with white in photoshop.
and now I'm paying the price for it.
My elbow gave out, approaching day 2 and it's not coming back anytime soon. Don't think I'm able to draw efficiently again for a few more days.

This is a great image. And to know you did it all by hand adds a touch of personal interest in it that rarely comes off of digitally worked images.
I'm not sure if it's supposed to represent him breaking free of emotional downs, or rather that, he's so cheery they can't touch him. but then again I don't want to ruin this art by over analyzing the meaning behind it. Excellent job!
