"It was a sunny day of May when a young and fit Herimash mercenary strolled into the town of Erendorf, catching the attention of several citizens. Unlike most of his kind or profession, the newcommer was well spoken, dressed fancy and had a well-kempt and shiny fur coat. In less than a week more than one human maiden had fallen for his silvery tongue and gallantry, eager to explore uncharted territories.
But alas, one such maiden was betrothed to Sir Fredrik von Hildeburg, a local nobleman well known for his pride and his fiery temperament. "How could this lowly beast defile my future wife?", he yelled, while challenging the Herimash to a duel of honour.
As it turns out, challenging to a duel a battle-hardened mercenary can be a mistake, no matter which species he belongs to. It is an even greater mistake if said mercenary couldn't care less about honour."

Fredrik was quick to find himself upon the defensive, soon realizing that his lack of training and the reality that his instructor had thrown the duels they had allowing him to win bore little to no fruit. And while he tried to face the beast in which he had insulted, now understand the predicament he had entered. His opponent took that momentary mental distraction, and rained pain upon the family jewels. Screaming and crying out in curses, he felt ready to bowl over. The Herimash mercenary, wasted not another second, despite how much he enjoyed the duel, bringing down his pommel between the shoulder blades, making Sir Fredrik kiss the dirt.
Enorach you beautiful son of a bitch.

Hahaha ...oh that little pice of story Olaff put there set the whole tale in motion in such a good way in my head. ...of a mystery individual arriving in town. haha
...you know, first with a different artistic technique, and several cuts. (sort of like the one used here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S77B702o6e4 ) ...all the sudden, we get back to reality with a few fast sword crashes, along with Skythe comment.
Sir Fredrik von Hildeburg is defeated in public.
"Heh...while this was fun, I honestly hoped for better" said the victor, "clearly money can't buy everything" he said after a brief pause.
Then he turned to see one of the shocked feminine witnesses standing there, and wink his eye for the favor he just made to her, before calmly leaving the site with a nascent smile for himself.
...he will be seeing her tonight XD
And that´s the opening scene of a random chapter in the animated series "Enorach" XDDD
Ones again, congrats for this result. Loving each pic you post. (handshakes enthusiastically haha)

Somehow I think the old masters - like Fiore and Liechtenauer - would have approved.
While taking a cute little smallsword up against a two-hander, I guess it's fortunate that the Sir Fredrick lacked the skills to make Herimash actually take him seriously, 'cause it could have ended far, far worse than taking a pommel the jewels.

I have successfully avoided them and will do my best to keep it that way.
Though you know something? From what I heard, I would love to see how the story goes on afterwards. While I have only read the first four books, I noticed something that I think didn't feature as much in the show.
Entire armies and cities have been wiped out, several regional capitals and King's Landing have been burned down. I assume that the archives have also been eradicated, including all the records that list where the food stores where, if they still exist that is. I'd say several were plundered for the armies or burned down. A lot of bandits, mostly ex-soldiers roam the countryside. And now winter is coming, a long one.
And that's just Westeros.
We can assume that Essos fares better. After all, there we only have the death of all the Khal's and the largest khalasar not returning that will cause some trouble. And the slavers will do everything to conquer the freed cities and cement their rule more than ever before.
I don't know if anyone looked at this that way, but I think we can say that Game of Thrones had an ending.
No one said it was a happy ending.

Now that is a low blow!!! However, I think this cocky block was asking for it when he issued the challenge. I'm impressed with the style and of the clothes, as well as their expressions. The swords as well are realistic in their design. Another incredible piece of work.😀😀😀😀
Come to think on it, I don't think said young fit Herimash mercenary is going to be enjoying his stay in the town of Erendorf for very long. If Sir Fredrik von Hildeburg is vindictive as he is arrogant me thinks one of the gangs of the town's local under belly might be getting some employment to, shall we say, find the other ways to skin a cat.
Don't get me wrong, I'm sure this young and fit mercenary can hold his own in any fight, but he has to sleep sometime, he has to eat and drink, and he has to go to the jakes just like everyone else, and humiliating one of the local noblemen will not enamor him to the lords who run the town. I get the distinct feeling that the young and adventurous mercenary's life is going to become very, complicated, in the coming days.
I have another question, why the hell is an arrogant nobleman known for his pride and fiery temperament challenging a mere mercenary, no matter how well he dresses and well-kempt his coat is, to a duel?! Any noble I know of would have simply ordered his retainers or the local guards to beat the ever living cat litter out of him, and if he proved too difficult they would have simply shot him full of crossbow bolts.
Maybe I'm just over thinking this but that is how this scenario would have played out in most medieval towns and cities. Throw in the speciesism of humans , worse yet noble humans, towards the anthros and the subsequent reaction just gets worse.
