For those curious, I have on occasion drawn comics. Of course, actually finishing them is another matter.
Drawn as a winter-themed comic back in 2003, this one contains two original characters: James StinCoy (the skunk) and Mags Katzenfeld (the wildcat). Neither character has been used by me for several years now, although I have recycled James' character design and last name for my modern era persona Justin StinCoy.

James tended to be crankier and more inclined to lash back at those he felt intruded upon his life. He was antisocial, but like a hermit, not a mean-spirited troublemaker. On the other hand, Justin is merely shy.
James and Justin are meant to be two entirely different characters despite being visually similar (I think I had yet to add the black diamonds within the back and tail stripes, themselves diamond-shaped). James was something of a more extreme earlier attempt at an author avatar but ended up pursuing his own personality and life. I finally realized James wouldn't work when I realized he and Mags ended up married. Blarg.
I liked the StinCoy last name and the striped skunk patterning I'd started to develop for James, but wanted to reboot with a better author avatar. Thanks to Furcadia, Justin was created, and I'm stricter on how I portray him.
