“And that’s how you got the wine?” A person with a notepad asked Preculious.

“Yes! Inspired by a portly werewolf who came in. they helped me make it, y’know!” Preculious smiled, patting the wooden keg by his side. “That is why this wine is named after them – The Portly Werewolf Port.”

“You’ve been known to retire your drinks a lot and give a portion of the money earned to the people who inspired your winery. But they usually only last three years at maximum.”

“Ahh, so you’ve done your research!” Preculious chortled with a smile. “Yes, the Portly Werewolf Port has been such a good seller that I’ve had to keep making more of it over the past twenty years. I feel it has become a staple of my business….” Preculious slapped the side of the barrel. “Usually, I let these old kegs go, but I feel I’m going to keep this one the way it is.”

“Any final words for curious folk who read the Questionable Ordeals News?” The person asked.

Preculious thought for a moment. “Yes… I think, since I am not retiring this drink, and the werewolf who inspired this is… MIA, the usual proceeds will go to the mighty hero, Tudor!” Preculious snickered, “y’know, as my way of condolences for the loss of his comrade.”

Preculious took a quick glance at the keg’s leg, noting the foot still had three toes on it. He couldn’t help but be curious. Usually, the runes lasted for only three years and the person would return to normal… but he had kept reapplying the rune to the werewolf’s belly. It seems after the third time the spell is applied, it must become permanent…. Cocking a brow, Preculious ushered the person away from his cellar, constantly worrying. He hadn’t reapplied the rune for 13 years, and the keg remained as is.
