I never got the chance to. I really wanted the opportunity to but my band director in high school wouldn't let me march snare (which I was good at) because he said it was a "waste of my talents." I was stuck marching clarinet and tenor sax as a result and my senior year was spent as the drum major. Not all bad; I had a pit solo in a drum break I wrote in to the show.
