AKA: Lore
Here's an open secret. The luxray line is my favourite pokemon, full stop. Felines and Electricity, my favourite critters and element. And from the more gameplay aspect, while they aren't a competitive mon, they still have good stats that shine in a play-through. So while I wait for the DLC to bring luxray into the games, I might as well post of my many pieces.
This one was done by Faith-Wolff over on Deviantart. Her work is beautiful. Her gallery has stuff like humans, pokemon, mlp, kaiju (she's part of an awesome MLP/kaiju crossover on Fimfiction), even some steven universe. Go browse.
Good. Back to Atty XD
Atty is one of my first proper OCs for the line, and one of my favourites. I use him in a couple places and in different ways. The three most common:
Atticus: A human turned pokemon, mostly in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon settings. Sometimes just in TF scenarios.
Atty: A partner pokemon to my trainer OC such as Grae.
Lore: Most always a pure pokemon setting, whether anthro or a PMD inspired world. Basically, with no humans actually around for the most part.
There are some commonalities of course. He tends to have a torchic/blaziken girlfriend (Bluey's character) and occasionally an alolan vulpix/ninetales girlfriend as well (Gryphus' girl). He always has his scars. No, they never have a cool origin. Most times, his girlfriend accidentally slashed him when he wasn't in a battle state, and it got badly treated so leaves a scar.
Aside from that... he's got a talent to basically use any move and in some cases mimic abilities. It's not a natural talent, mind you, he still has to learn how to access and properly form and shape the energies, and ground and water type moves for one are tricky for him. It plays into my own concepts of how the pokemon world and it's move works. Another pokemon OC of mine can pull off a similar trick, though not as 'inherently'. I'll get to him one day.
In any case... to cap off my ramble, you'll mostly see him as a luxio or shinx. I love the potential and promise of growth, storywise, pokemon have as characters when not fully evolved :)
