The Last Swimsuit You'll Need
Dear Retailer,
It has come to our attention that one of our products may be defective. As such, we are recalling any AniForm Swim Wear manufactured before 6/8/20. The issue arises from an artifact left in from the testing stages, which causes the garment when worn to identify the wearer as both male and female, causing the resulting transformation to result in a mix-gendered form.
Sincerely,
Erin Embereyes

Despite the recall, less reputable stores continued to sell the bad product to tourists. When Alexander forgot the most important thing for his beach trip, the sale sticker caught his eye. He only needed something for the day, so he bought them in the hurry. He didn't even know what AniForm meant, and it wasn't until the shorts got wet and began running down his leg that he realized they were any different than a standard pair of swim trunks.
Now whenever he gets wet enough, he'll have the pleasure of turning into Alexandra, the inflatable shark! At least he doesn't have to worry about drowning anymore, and cleaning vinyl in the shower is much easier than skin.
Ugh, it's been awhile. I've done several sketches that I just wasn't happy with over the last few weeks, so it's good to actually complete something.

Imagine though, never having to eat, or breath again. Technically since you are a pooltoy you don't need clothes anymore, unless there are more "adult" versions of the trunks that retain "ahem", then maybe clothes would still be necessary.
Downside though you basically have to worry about punctures, unless your new form is puncture proof.
