Leon is the second mage supporting Gavin and Kilian on their quest - this time even free of charge after their first mage met a horrific death at the hands of the murderer who claims to be Laer-Jion.
After learning about his brothers fate the demonolgy-expert pleaded the guild council to realize the danger of an awakening Laer-Jion and got the permission to avenge his brother's death. He is calm, cold and calculating. Although he is older than Kilian and Gavin (middle to end forties) he has kept a youthful appearance and is referred by Kilian as "pretty boy" on occasion.
Being a mage he has little to no interest in mundane affairs, he only wants to stop and banish Laer-Jion and sever the links the rising demon has with this world. As a skilled combat mage he has a wide array of offensive and defensive spells and can stand his own in a swordfight, usually combining magic and mundane attacks. Since he needs to stay fit to harness the raw magic in his more powerful spells he is astonishingly strong (otherwise he would risk getting ripped apart by the magic currents when channeling his power).

Leon knows of his power and can wield a considerable amount of magic - but even he underestimates their adversary, resulting in further deaths and the final awakening of Laer-Jion when he destroys the body of the demon's vessel. After that he vows to end this threat personally, even if it might take his life. He does not especially care about mundane people and their fates, but since almost all mages only care about magic and power that is not very unsual.
He does, however, develop a little crush on Nele - although she's not only a horse but a powerless mundane.
