Kilian is a middle-aged bear of unknown origin. He and Gavin crossed paths years ago and the massive, scarred bear owes him a lot - including his life.
He joined the city watch as enforcer and usually gets called when heavy fighting or an intimidating posture is required. The standard guard short sword looks like a toy in his hands, so he likes to bring his own weapon, a double-sided axe, with him. Enjoys wearing plate armor, making him a formidable opponent. However, his speed ist not to be underestimated when he is without his armor, and he is a terrific climber. Whenever Gavin needs a trusty partner or simply someone to hide behind, Kilian is happy to oblige.

Although he seems a happy and carefree character, Kilian has little to no regard for othe people's lives. He just learned that people are nicer to him, if he is nice to them, but he doesn't hesitate to kill or inflict more damage than neccessary to finish a fight. The only person he has ever shown honest affection towards is Gavin. Whether because they have been friends so long, because he owes him so much or any other reason is unknown. Whenever asked about his past or Gavin he keeps silent and quickly changes the topic.
Likes to talk in semi-comprehensible dialect with Gavin translating when people don't understand his mumbling.
