Profile: Lodestar is the Department of Empowered Law Enforcement's ace in the hole, being the most powerful operative they have as far as deployment and ability to take control of the battlefield goes. His identity behind the mask is one of their best keep secrets, which he is only too happy to maintain. Not for his sake, as he will firmly make clear, but for the sake of the people in his civilian life. As part of Blue Sky's Guardians, he's among the Empowered sent by the Department to take care of any threats that could threaten the nation and world as a whole.

Otherwise, he's normally seen taking care of any street level problems on his own time, from helping people with directions, making sure children get to school safely, and stopping minor crimes. He tackles higher profile crimes such as trafficking with a noted amount of venom towards the perpetrators, stating that robbing others of their freedom and ability to grow sickens him. He focuses, on formal deployments, on insuring there are no citizens to be caught up in the battle. If the option to force the fight to a less populated area presents is available, he will do so swiftly and without question.

It is once he is safely able to unleash his full might he makes it clear why he is so highly placed in the D.E.L.E., even if he does gain a disregard for public property and uses it for makeshift weapons. In all, he works to be a symbol of hope for the world, and when he shines his star in the sky, all know he has arrived.

Weaknesses: He has been known to be harmed by weaponry and magic of divine and faerie origin. Weaponry from Atlantis ignores his invulnerability outright, and he cannot heal as quickly from wounds dealt by it. On a psychological level, harming civilians intentionally can cause him to become enraged, to the point where he can become berserk and focus all of efforts on eliminating a single target or group. If someone manages to slip a collar onto him, he will automatically become docile. For this reason he keeps a careful eye on anyone close.
